This multifaceted flower is naturally antibacterial and has many healing qualities that can help to balance our emotions and skin.

For skin this oil is known for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It can provide high protection for our skin against inflammation and environmentally induced oxidative stresses like pollution and the sun. It is one of our favourite ingredients and if you suffer with rosacea, eczema, psoriasis or just generally dry, cracked skin then you need rosehip oil.

We chose to include rosehip oil in our Eye & Lip Butter which unlike rose oil, which just comes from the rose petals. Rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. It is rich in omega unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals which aid in skin-regernation. Additionally it is a comedogenic oil, meaning that it does not clog pores - which is really important when applying anything around the eye area!

We would love to know your skincare stories of how rose has helped you.
